Bahrain Bourse falls for the fifth consecutive day

 The Bahrain All Share Index ended off 0.12% to close at 1,134.46 points. The gauge has not added value since the beginning of February. Shares of Bahrain Flour Mills posted the largest decline (off 9.50%). Aluminum Bahrain, Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) and Ahli United Bank closed unchanged. Earlier in the day, STel, the Indian affiliate of Batelco is set to review the sustainability of its operations under the revised terms imposed by a recent court order. Batelco said it was studying the recent judgement handed down by the Supreme Court of India, cancelling all 122 2G licences issued in 2008 and spectrum granted to eight operators, including STel, in which the company has a 42.7% stake. "Whilst the immediate focus is on STel's customers, employees and suppliers, STel shareholders will also review the sustainability of its business operations under the revised conditions imposed by the court's recent judgement impacting the telecoms industry," it said....
